Halloween Rice Krispie Treats

Make your Halloween party Happy and fuss-free with these festive Trick or Rice Krispie Treats! We add pumpkin spice marshmallows & candy corns to make these even better.
What to get:
  • 14 oz Kraft 'Jet-Puffed' Pumpkin Spice Marshmallows (1 bag is 8 oz)
  • 3T butter (unsalted)
  • 6 cups Kellog's Rice Krispies cereal
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup chopped candy corns
  • ~1/2 cup candy corns for topping treats
  • *wax paper and non-stick spatula for pressing mix into pan
What to do:
  1. Spray a 9x13 glass pan with oil, set aside.
  2. In a non stick pot on stove, melt the butter & marshmallows on low, stirring with spatula occasionally.
  3. Add vanilla.
  4. Once marshmallows have thoroughly melted & lost shape, remove pan from heat on stove, and stir in the cereal and chopped candy corns (mixing well with wooden spoon).
  5. Press Krispie treat mix evenly into the prepared 9x13 dish, using wax paper as helpful.
  6. Use extra candy corns to press into top of treats spreading out evenly (see photos in post above)
  7. Let sit a few minutes and cut into desired-sized squares with a knife. Serve immediately!
Easy as traditional Rice Krispie Treats, but we're adding more marshmallow, some vanilla extract and some candy corn bling. These store best if not eaten same day, in airtight container. They are great for Halloween parties!
