Dark chocolate and pretzels get all glittered-up in our festive clusters with the likes of honey-roasted cashews, dried cranberries, marshmallows and sea salt! It's not your average trail mix; it's better. And it's a super easy no bake dessert!
What to get:
  • 15 oz dark chocolate morsels (~ 1.5 bags)
  • 1.5 cups thin pretzel sticks, broken in half or smaller
  • 1.5 cups honey roasted cashews (mine were salted also)
  • 1.5 cups miniature marshmallows
  • ⅓ cup, mini mixed chocolate chip morsels (optional)
  • ⅓ cup dried cranberries (mine were sweetened)
  • 2-3 pinches sea salt (to your preference)
What to do:
  1. In large mixing bowl combine: broken pretzels sticks, cashews, marshmallows, mini mixed chips, dried cranberries, set aside.
  2. on large baking sheet, or two smaller, line with wax paper.
  3. In double boiler or small pot fixed with a glass bowl on top, gently melt the dark chocolate morsels over low heat until smooth.
  4. Combine melted dark chocolate and dry mix well.
  5. Add pinches of sea salt, combine.
  6. with large spoon scoop about 2 T worth of cluster mix onto wax lined baking sheet(s).
  7. Note that mixture will be messy and you'll have to form the clusters.
  8. Place formed clusters on lined sheets, into freezer until chocolate sets (30-50 minutes).
  9. Transfer into a wax lined air tight container in single layers. Store in fridge and eat whenever!
This is really easy and the only heated part is to gently melt the dark chocolate chips. Once combined this will need to set-up in the freezer. Best to then store in fridge. These are delicious cold and great post dinner.
