Perfectly hard to resist, homemade granola with organic oats, almonds, brown sugar & dried cranberries! Addicting and a great way to start the day with something other than your average old cereal! Easy and nutritious.
*1 cup dried, sweetened cranberries (add after toasting granola)
What to do:
Preheat oven to 275.
In a bowl, combine oats, almonds, coconut, seeds, ground flax, sugar, salt, cinnamon, brown sugar.
In second bowl, combine oil, molasses & vanilla (combine well)
Add wet mix to oat mix, combine well.
On a large, parchment-lined baking sheet, spread granola in a thin, even layer
Bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes, stirring mix and re-spreading every 20 min to ensure browning
Notes:
This is best toasted low & slow! The dried cranberries are added after the toasting in the oven and this stores well in an air-tight container once cooled, or even in the fridge. Make a double batch-I promise it will be going fast!
