O’Lucky Irish Coffee

Hot and delicious, after dinner drinks perfect for Saint Patrick's Day! We're changing up the standard Irish Coffee version by using a honey whiskey and toppping with a subtle peppermint whipped cream. Cheers!
What to get:
  • 2 oz Bushmills Irish Honey Whiskey
  • 5 oz coffee (hot)
  • 3 oz Baileys Irish Cream (warmed)
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • Peppermint-infused whipped cream for the top
  • *drop of green food coloring and a clover if you feel festive!
What to do:
  1. Brew a pot of standard hot coffee
  2. In Irish coffee mugs add:
  3. Bailey's, Whiskey, coffee and stir-in the brown sugar till dissolved.
To make the peppermint-infused Whipped cream:
  1. Steep 2 sprigs fresh peppermint leaves in 1 cup fresh whipping cream for about 10 min
  2. Remove mint leaves and whip cream with electric mixer
  3. *add 1 drop green food coloring for subtle color as desired
  4. Then top drinks with whipped cream and garnish with a clover or mint leaf!
Notes:
If you prefer more mint flavor in the whipped cream, you can let the mint leaves steep longer and/or add a tiny bit of mint extract or syrup if you've got it.
